Wilber and Associates is looking for ideal team players to join our Subrogation Specialist team.

About Wilber

Throughout Wilber's 50-year history, we have skyrocketed from a local law office into a nationally- recognized claims administration and subrogation recovery partner, servicing some of the most recognized companies in America. Our experienced and high-spirited staff has consistently delivered high-performance results through taking advantage of ongoing educational opportunities and by providing innovative responses to the needs of our clients. We do this by growing around fun, hard-working people like you.

Your future role

Like most fulfilling things, this position will require some hard work.  However, with each person you assist you will be solving financial problems to improve their circumstances and meet our client's needs.  Since Wilber services claims and clients throughout the U.S., you will undoubtedly encounter a wide range of personalities, circumstances and attitudes on the phone. Many customers will be eagerly guided to a solution and relieved to finally settle their debt, while others may demand an explanation in regards to their accountability. Regardless of the situation, your ability to provide exemplary customer service, patience, empathy, and creative solutions will allow you to thrive as a Claims Recovery Specialist.

  • Making outbound calls to customers/debtors informing of claim filed against them
  • Receiving/transferring inbound calls
  • Accurately obtaining payments via card and ACH (electronic check payment)
  • Negotiating payment plans for efficient recovery
  • Update/validate contact information
  • Successfully notate files of conversations had and payments received
  • Providing clarity on filed claims and answer any inquiries from customers

We provide an extensive training program to make you a premier Claims Recovery Specialist.  Former experience is nice to have, but not required. Our hiring process is largely character-based: we can always teach the right skills to the right people, but we can't teach you how to be you.

About You

You're an ideal candidate for this position if you have a penchant for precision and details, enjoy working with a team, and you have enthusiasm for problem-solving. If your favorite questions are "What's next"or "How can I fix this?", you'll fit in perfectly with us.

To you, this isn't a springboard into another area at Wilber. You want to be part of our team for a while, and you're excited to contribute to making Wilber the best product for our clients.

A big part of the role itself is supporting each other, so you should understand the value in prioritizing relationships with your colleagues.

We strongly encourage candidates of all different backgrounds and identities to apply.

You do not have to be fluent in the ins-and-outs of Insurance to thrive with us. We are in search of hungry, humble, and smart team players who simply want to learn more and do more.  Each new hire is an opportunity for us to bring in a different perspective, and we are always eager to further diversify our company. Wilber is committed to building an inclusive, supportive place for you to do the best and most rewarding work of your career.
