What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing prompt subrogation and recovery investigation, evaluation and settlement of claims with moderate to highly complex exposures for clients nationwide
  • Making outbound and receiving inbound calls in a call center setting, utilizing a headset and dual-monitor computer
  • Documenting claim files with all pertinent information to prove damages and maximize loss recovery.
  • Communicating to and with policyholders, agents and underwriting on key claim issues
  • Conducting open claim reviews and working cohesively with other departments to deliver superior customer service and claim service to policyholders.
  • Establishing a course of action to conclude claims timely and in compliance with state regulatory requirements.

Education and Experience 

  • HS Diploma or GED (required)
  • Software: MS Excel, MS Office (preferred)
  • Proven experience in a call center environment
  • Proficient multi-tasking
  • Typing: 40 wpm
  • Insurance experience (favored)
  • Customer service experience: retail, restaurant, office, etc. - 2 years (required)
