As a Support Clerk you will:

  • Be responsible for data processing and entry of incoming claims.
  • Analyze and interpret claim data.
  • Process administrative support requests for a variety of different purposes.
  • Facilitate proper routing/ processing of physical and electronic mail.
  • Fax, mail and email, scan, print, or append documents.
  • Access a variety of websites to better service internal handling of files.
  • Contact clients to provide or receive information.
  • Participate in entering data into our system.
  • Contact insurance carriers to set up or locate claims.
  • Report to management and supervisors in regards to problematic claims.
  • Troubleshoot and provide excellent customer service to clients.


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Team members interviewing for a support role should have office experience and a willingness to continually grow in their career.

Team members will be required to pass a department assessment within 90 days and become familiar with Wilber culture, technology and processes.

Ongoing education may be offered in this role to further knowledge of the Insurance and Subrogation industry.

You are Qualified if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Are self-driven with proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Possess a competitive nature and positive attitude.
  • Exhibit competent computer skills such as typing and general familiarity with navigation in MS Office.
  • Can type 40 WPM.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and understand complex problems.
  • Are team oriented and like to work hard and play hard.
  • Work well with constructive criticism and coaching.
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced, upbeat work environment.
  • Can pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
