Remote candidates must be available for two weeks of initial training at headquarters in Bloomington, IL and subsequent headquarters visits on an as needed basis.

As a Subrogation Property Adjuster, you will:

  • Be responsible for investigations, adjustments, negotiations, while meeting individual and team production goals.
  • Perform skip tracing and other investigative work, with daily follow-up.
  • Prepare subrogation demands per department guidelines
  • Negotiate subrogation claims with adverse insurance carriers.
  • Research state laws to support and resolve claim, using proper procedures.
  • Contact responsible parties to negotiate a settlement on behalf of the client.

You are qualified if you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in the insurance industry, particularly subrogation.
  • Have one or more of these professional insurance designations: CPCU, AIC, AIS, AINS, or CSRP.
  • Are self-driven with proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Possess a competitive nature and positive attitude.
  • Are a good negotiator and think outside of the box.
  • Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
  • Have computer skills such as typing, learning new software, general internet navigation.
